Steel Doors

We are agents in Ireland for Robust Steel Doors which are a Swedish company who also operate out of the UK and supply steel doors worldwide. All our doors are of the highest quality – all are CE badged and come with the highest quality hardware available on the market today. After years of installing and supplying steel doors, we firmly believe that we have the finest quality steel available in Ireland today and we supply and fit at a very competitive cost. Petrol stations, sewage plants, seaside applications, schools and factories are just some of the places in which we have installed these doors with great success.

External Steel Doors

Our “FDA” steel door is an entry level external security door offering exceptional value for this industry leading specification. The “FDA” is custom manufactured in the UK, with an average lead time of only 3 weeks.

The doors are available in a wide range of sizes from 690mm-1340mm wide single doors and 1000mm – 2600mm double doors and from 1500-2800mm high.

Fire Doors – FD60, FD120, FD240

Fire rated doors designed to contain and prevent the spread of fire for a specified period of time. Our Fire Doors are available in latched and unlatched configurations.

Louvred Doors

Fully Louvred Steel doors suitable for plant rooms, boiler rooms etc where continuous airflow is required to ventilate machinery etc.

Louvred doors are used to ventilate plant areas but also to offer protection against machinery otherwise open to potential vandalism. Robust Louvred Steel Doors are stronger than traditional lightweight aluminium louvres and can be used with side and overpanels. In addition we can also make up louvred screens / enclosures. Also louvred panels can be fitted into our standard doors.

Acoustic doors – AC35, AC45, AC50

Acoustic Doors are designed to reduce the transference of noise from one area to another.

Acoustic doors are used in many applications to offer privacy or to reduce noise pollution from one area to another. More stringent legislation makes it a requirement to consider the effects of noise pollution on the local environment. Our standard doors offer a low level of acoustic performance but for higher acoustic performance we custom manufacture doors tested to 45dB and 50dB. Due to the high performance criteria of these doors they are of a heavy duty design and are a more difficult doorset to install with tighter tolerances than our basic doors. Robust doors have been tested as full installed door systems and should be installed by our trained engineers For example, a 5mm gap at the bottom of a door capable of reducing sound transmission by 45dB would result in an overall sound reduction of only 25dB. In other words 250 times as much sound energy is transmitted underneath the door as through the door.

How is Acoustic Performance Measured

The performance of the Robust acoustic door is described as the “Sound Reduction Index” and is shown as a figure xx dB. It is a weighted average over a range of frequencies prescribed in the test standard: BS EN ISO 140-3: 1995.

Security doors – SD2, SD3, SD3E, SD4

Security doors offer a physical barrier designed to deter and delay intruders for a specified time period. These doors should be used in conjunction with secondary defences and specified accordingly. Our Security Doors are tested to ENV1627.

The SD4 and SD5 doors are further enhanced for blast resistance and tested to BSEN 13124-2.

Stainless steel doors – S/ST

Doors manufactured from grade 304 or 316 stainless steel sheet. Suitable for environments requiring corrosion protection. Stainless steel doors are also available in a wide range of coloured, textured and patterned finishes to suit specific design requirements. Individual company logos or messages can be etched into the sheet as a unique design feature.
